Obituary For Eddie E. Brown

Obituary

Deacon Eddie E. Brown was born May 7, 1939, in Brooks County, Georgia and was a long time resident of Jacksonville, Florida. He passed from this life on Saturday, March 20, 2021.

Deacon Brown worked at the Mike Shad Ford for 20 years, Florida Machinery and Foundry for 26 years, and MMM maintenance service.

He was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Ethel Brown. Survivors to cherish his memory include: wife, Helen R. Brown; daughters, Gail M. Brown Taylor, Bettie L. Bratcher, and Phyllis Hilliard; son, Joshua Brown; granddaughters, Ti any Brown, Tameka Morgan (Harry), Angelia Dawson (Edward), Andrea Dove (Cedric), and Alexis Smith (Jarmar); grandson, Alex Bratcher III; 17 great-grands; two great-great-grands; sisters-in-laws, Sally Mae Williams and Lillie Mae Johnson; brother, Willie Brown (Rosie); sisters-in-law, Bertha Gilbert, Isabella Hawkins (William), Betty Hartzog (Frank), and Ruth Delgero (George); and a host of nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and sorrowful friends who will cherish his memory forever.

John 14:1-4 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions; if [it were] not [so], I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am [there] ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
