Obituary For Ms. Bessie Mae Davis

The Lord saw fit to take Bessie Mae Davis home on September 22, 2014. Ms. Bessie Mae Davis was born on May 14, 1933 to the late Katie Davis and Mr. Elbert Davis. Aunt Bessie was a loving woman and caring one as well, she was educated in Macon, Georgia, and later moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where she later started her own family. She is the mother of four children, two girls, and two boys, she later adopted five of her niece's children; three more boys and two more girls giving her a total of eight children. Also, she has a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and special friends. She leaves behind two sisters, Blanche Amitage, and Rosa Trice, one brother, Robert Davis, and one sister in-law, Catherine Davis. She also leaves behind three children, one daughter Ms. Robbin Davis, and two sons, Dale Davis and Edward Davis, one granddaughter Resheena Hardy, and two grandsons, Coery Davis and Brandon Davis. Additionally, she leaves behind, eight nieces, four nephews, and a host of great nieces and nephews, a mother, sister, brother, daughter; Michelle Davis, Katite Davis, Mary Ann Davis, uncles Elbert Davis Jr., and Eugene Davis that preceded her in death.
