Rudolph “Rudy” L. Gipson, 45 years old, of Jacksonville, Florida, departed this life on April 30, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Eddie Rudolph Toler, his two brothers, Roy Thompson Jr, and Roy Thompson, his cousin, Charles “Ricky” Jones, his grandparents, Mr. Leo A. Gipson and Mrs. Marie Gipson, and his uncles, Charles Merrill Gipson, Jerry R. Gipson, and Jeffrey L. Grover, and aunts Audrey Marie Edwards, Gloria Yvonne Jones (Edward).

He was born April 28, 1973 to the late Mr. Eddie Rudolph Toler and Ms. Catherine Gipson. He attended the Duval County Public Schools in Jacksonville, Florida.

He began working at a very young age with his grandfather and uncles with the family lawn service. He continued his career doing what he did best as a landscaper and soon became a Licensed Foreman for Brightview Industrial Services.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his parents Mr. Roy and Mrs. Catherine Thompson, his children, Keturah E. Gipson, Rudolph “Lil Rudy” Gipson, his brothers, Pastor Arthur Miller III. (Angela), Rodriquez Thompson (Sherinisha), his aunts, Gwendolyn Edmondson, Cosandra D. Grover, and Mary B. Mason, his uncles, Leo Gipson Jr. Thomas A. Gipson, and James Lewis Gipson, his stepchildren, Jada Gilbert, Jakada Gilbert, and Terry McClellan, close friends, Reginald Clements, Shannon Whetstone, Derrick Farmer, Keith Roberts (Doc), Deborah Williams (Chippy), and a host of cousins, friends, and co-workers.
